Mn3mosyne
Mn3mosyne (Mnemosyne stylised) is a dedication to many great atonal composers such as Sofia Gubaidulina, Witold Lutosławski, Morton Feldman and a result of an extensive research into their works. The trio features Chaerin Im on piano & midi keyboard, Hristo Goleminov on tenor saxophone and myself on drums and electronics.
MIDI Studies
Encouraged by my relatively recent discovery of Conlon Nancarrow’s music, I’ve been writing these studies for MIDI piano. Each study is generated from one (!) ‘melody’, using transposition and canonic displacement, allowing me to experiment with concepts ranging from polytonality to rhythmic frameworks. The resulting body of work contains 20 studies. “MIDI Studies” is out now on DecodeTheseNotes.
